It is free, and nothing in it is locked: you pay what you decide it is worth, including nothing. The installer is signed by Augmented Mind AB, and because the certificate is new, Windows may still warn you before it opens it. It does a little less than the Mac app: to work out what a payment was for, it looks beyond your statements only in your email, not in your messages, calendar or photos. Read these before you decide.
Almost every Windows PC has one of these. If you are not sure, this is the one.
Download for Intel or AMDPCs with an ARM processor, such as the Snapdragon X laptops. This build runs natively on them.
Download for ARMNot sure which? Open Settings → System → About. Under System type, “x64-based processor” means Intel or AMD, and “ARM-based processor” means ARM.
The installer is signed by Augmented Mind AB, but the certificate is new, so Windows may still say “Windows protected your PC” and call it an unrecognized app. Choose More info, which shows Augmented Mind AB as the publisher, then Run anyway to install it.
Mind My Money uses an AI agent to do the work, Claude Code from Anthropic or Codex from OpenAI, so it cannot start without one. The first time you open it, you choose which, and it takes you through installing it and signing in. Installing it is free; doing the work needs your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription. If you have neither, tell us and we will find you another way to help, and please do not buy one for this.
On a Mac it can look at the photos you took around a payment to work out what it was; on Windows it does not look at them at all. It still reads your bank statements, so here it can tell you what fewer payments were for than on a Mac, which is worth knowing before you judge what it came back with.
There is a “Something wrong here? Tell us” link in the app. It shows you exactly what it would send before it sends anything, and it carries the logs, which is what makes a report worth acting on. Prefer it to writing it down separately.
Everything it keeps is a plain file in a folder on your own PC, which you can open yourself. Nothing is locked in, and uninstalling leaves that folder alone.
On a Mac instead? Download Mind My Money for Mac.
